Three Contests~ Public Voting~ Prizes Awarded
Winners will be announced between 2 and 3pm at our live Earth Day Event on April 22, 2023
Location: The Shack 202 E Main Street, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
Contest #1: Create an Earth Day Sign On A Sheet
We will hang contestant signs throughout Lava to draw attention,
raise awareness, as well as appreciate and admire the art.
Guidelines:
Signs should highlight the 2023 Earth Day theme, “Invest In Our Plane, Put Your Heart Into It”.
Signs should be created on a sheet or a large piece of fabric. (We have a limited number of sheets available for use.)
Types of Media: Think waterproof (for weather conditions) Paint, fabric, mixed media….be creative.
Any items attached must be attached securely and remain secure while hanging outside.
Make the Art Original - No copyrighted, trademarked, or branded material may be used in your design. (Except repurposed waste)
Contest #2: Create an Original Illustrated Poem
Guidelines:
40 words or less
Hand written or type on a 8.5x11 sheet
Contest #3: Upcycle~Repurpose~Improvise
For the Engineer and the Artist in You
Guidelines:
Create an art piece out of discarded items
